I'm sad to hear the OG is closing. I'm 51 years old and memories will forever stay in my heart. As a child my family ate there many times , my older sister worked there when I was maybe 1? But I remember eating the taco burger , sitting at the table next to the booth closest to the kitchen and always staring at the small glass "showcase" of different beans I believe . I can still picture how it looked way back then. Aww this is sad. We still enjoy the number 4 and the burrada at the 13th and wads location but the Federal location will forever hold the best memories for me.

I’ve been visiting taco house since o was a little girl, lots of family dinners! After I married into the Kraft family I actually got to get to know Greg and we would go into the Federal location at least once a week. I will miss seeing Greg at this location and listening to all his stories. Hopefully will see you at the Lakewood location. As a family business you were always busting your butt at the federal location and your wife too. I’m glad the Lakewood location is staying open! 🙂 happy holidays to you guys! Keep making those memories with your Grandbaby!

Hoping the Wadsworth location will stay open for another 100 years at least. Great food, affordable and never real spicy!🌶️ Havana st. Location had a bar the North Federal location had bullet holes in the walls and the Littleton location had a drive-thru. Never a dull moment at any of their other locations…. We will still keep on paying it forward at Xmas time.

Being a dishwasher at Taco House in Thornton was my first job. My mom ran the restaurant for many many years. I worked with many great people and continue to be in touch with some of them. The food isn’t for everybody, but if you grew up with it, it taste like home. The queso can never be topped.

Taco house has been a part of my entire life since I was in the womb. It’s definitely a place where I grew up and my kids even eat there now as well. My mom used to crave it with me, then it was the spot where my dad and I would go every single weekend! as I got older taco house was my very first job I Worked my way all the way up from dishwasher until team lead. It’s definitely a family environment one of the best places that I have gained so many memories. And I am extremely blessed to have been able to work there and now continue to take my family that I have created!! Number four with lettuce and cheese on the top will always be that top tier menu item!!
