My cousin used to live about a block away from the taco house on federal. We would go to eat there at least twice a week after school when we were in middle school. The all you can eat special, the delicious cheese enchiladas with onions, the guacamole were favorites of mine. I live in Florida now but still remember how delicious the food is. Thank you taco house for your wonderful food and memories.

I’m filled with tears at this moment. Taco house has been a go to for our family for generations. Roy and Enedina Morquecho are my grandparents who passed away in 2012&2015. They would always take us up to Denver and we always enjoyed tacos, enchilada, chips , salsa EVERYTHING. We’ve catered the chips and salsa for big events our families have had. I’ve continued dropping in with my little family I have now and my son LOVES taco house. He loves the tacos too. Something about the environment, the food, everything makes taco house feel like home. I will always cherish every single memory especially beginning with my grandparents 🤍

We live in Perry Utah 65 miles north of salt Lake City. I am from India and started eating at TH in Sept. 1967 when it was located at Broadway and Evans. Bob worked in the kitchen and Lorraine and Suzette served customers. No.4 plate was a dollar. So yummy. Lorraine married my best friend Bob Green. I am still in touch with her and her daughters Veronica and Christine. Bob Green is no more. We eat at the Federal Blvd place every time we come to Denver. Sorry that you are closing. Will miss you. Best wishes. I would love to share a photo of my wife and I wearing Taco House shirts taken today. Tell me how.

We have been going to Taco House on Federal since the early 70s. My brother absolutely loves Taco House. He moved up to Washington state and whenever he would come and visit, that was the first place we would go to after the airport. He missed it so much. On his 40th birthday, I bought a tray of enchiladas and rice and sauce and had to pack it in dry ice to ship it. It cost me $175 to ship that to him, but it was well worth it and he was so happy to have it.

I can’t be sure but I remember coming to Taco House at a young age, so possibly starting in 1958. My Mom loved the Burrada. It was always the No 4 dinner for me. My daughter was very young at the time and I once ordered her a single cheese enchilada. She wanted a burrada, just like Grandma. The waitress (oh I wish I had learned her name) decided she could get a mini-burrada. From then on that’s what my daughter got. We moved away in 1986 and I actually had withdrawals, as I was eating at the Taco House 3-4 times per week. I will forever miss the original Taco House that I grew up in.
