Being a dishwasher at Taco House in Thornton was my first job. My mom ran the restaurant for many many years. I worked with many great people and continue to be in touch with some of them. The food isn’t for everybody, but if you grew up with it, it taste like home. The queso can never be topped.

Taco house has been a part of my entire life since I was in the womb. It’s definitely a place where I grew up and my kids even eat there now as well. My mom used to crave it with me, then it was the spot where my dad and I would go every single weekend! as I got older taco house was my very first job I Worked my way all the way up from dishwasher until team lead. It’s definitely a family environment one of the best places that I have gained so many memories. And I am extremely blessed to have been able to work there and now continue to take my family that I have created!! Number four with lettuce and cheese on the top will always be that top tier menu item!!

Taco house for me and my brother was always a treat when we were younger. We lived in Walsh street in Denver and taco house was just down the street. My grandma Bryson ( god rest her soul) would by a box of tacos for us to enjoy. Fast forward to when I was 16 and meet my husband I remember taking him for the first time and he loved the food we moved in to the apartments next to the gas station right next to taco House by the Wadsworth location and we would literally eat it every day you couldn’t be the food or the prices. For the last 23 years we make taco house a family event. We are at the Wadsworth location at least once a month. And through all three of my pregnancies taco House cravings were a must 😂. Thank you guys for the BEST enchiladas and the great memories ♥️ - The Martinez family
