My dad was a window cleaner and he washed the windows at several of their locations that’s how we were introduced to Mexican Food. We always enjoyed going there as a family. I remember the OG’s the Bevos, and then when Bob, Vicky, took over, Anita waitressed there for years, they were all such wonderful people. My brother briefly worked there as a dishwasher. Thank you for over 50 years of great Taco House south Federal memories! Sad this is happening but definitely understandable.

I ate here as a kid and throughout my twenties and have many fond memories. Sad to see an icon of Denver close

Many fond memories of Taco House. Grew up in southwest Denver and my Mom would take us there quite a bit as kids. The tacos were my favorite! In later years, as an adult, I would meet my parents at the South Federal location (near Hampden) for all you can eat night. My husband and I still occasionally eat at the Lakewood location. Sorry to see the original location go. If you grew up in Denver or the suburbs, Taco House is a little bit of nostalgia 🙂

I started going to the West Colfax location then followed you to Wadsworth. Loved Taco Tuesday! Think my record was 12!! Sure missed you when I moved to extreme NW Kansas 5 years ago.

I remember my sister and I pooling out nickels, and dimes and going to the Taco house for tacos….3 for $1.00. I live in Florida now but still go there every time I’m in Denver. I will miss them.
